General terms

ShowCars.kz is a catalogue of cars for rent. Car owners and rental companies list their cars, and renters contact them directly using the listed details.

The service is not a party to a rental agreement: it does not accept requests or payments and does not confirm bookings. Agree all rental terms directly with the car owner.

A renter must be a legally capable person aged 21 or over, with at least two years of driving experience, who presents identity documents and a valid driving licence.

Foreign citizens must also present a passport. National licences from CIS countries and international driving permits are accepted without additional certification.

The daily price is shown on each car page. Confirm the final terms, deposit, and mileage limit with the owner when you contact them.

Listing cars

Listings are available to car owners and rental companies. Register, verify your email address, and create a car card in your account.

A card appears in the catalogue only after operator review. The operator may reject it with a reason, which the owner can see in their account.

Contacts added to a card (phone, WhatsApp, Telegram) are public after publication. List only contacts you are ready to show renters.

The owner can temporarily hide a card (pause it) or archive it from the account. Changes to a published card go through operator review again.

Mileage and use

If no mileage limit is shown on the car page, mileage is unlimited. Where a limit is shown, excess mileage is charged at the owner’s rates.

Use is permitted within the Republic of Kazakhstan. Taking a car outside the country requires the owner’s prior written consent.

You may not let people who are not named in the rental agreement drive, take part in races or competitions, use the car as a taxi or to carry prohibited cargo, or drive while intoxicated.

The renter pays fines, toll roads, and parking charges incurred during the rental.

Liability and insurance

Cars must be insured under the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, including compulsory third-party liability insurance for vehicle owners.

A deposit agreed with the owner is held against damage, traffic violations, or shortages and returned after the rental is closed.

If a road accident occurs, stop, call the police on 112, document it with photographs and a report, and notify the car owner immediately.

Leaving an accident scene before the documents are completed voids insurance cover. The renter pays damage not covered by insurance, including misuse and renter-caused damage to the interior or tyres.

Privacy

This policy explains how ShowCars.kz processes personal data.

For owners, we store the account email address, name or company name, phone number, and the contents of car cards with an operational activity history.

Contacts added to a car card are published openly after review so renters can contact the owner directly.

Operator notes and rejection reasons are available only to the card owner and are not shared with third parties.

To improve the catalogue, the service uses only anonymised telemetry of public actions: card impressions and opens, detail views, contact clicks, favourite changes, filter use, sort changes, gallery opens and advances, media plays, and rental-company page views.

Telemetry is stored only in aggregate by day, card or company and approved dimensions: city, language, device class, source, entry surface, and date. It contains no cookies, IP addresses, visitor identifiers, raw URLs or session paths, renter data, messages, requests, or bookings.

Only anonymous public renter traffic is counted. Signed-in users, previews, and recognisable bots are excluded where possible. Daily data is kept for 24 months and aggregate metrics indefinitely; expired daily data is cleaned lazily. The site timezone is used. Collection starts after deployment, historical data is not reconstructed, and telemetry failure does not affect catalogue operation.

WhatsApp and Telegram links may use a signed internal redirect only to record the action; phone links open directly. These mechanisms do not change cards, profiles, users, payments, or statuses.

The service does not use third-party analytics systems.

Other data is retained as required by law and deleted when that period ends, including on your request. Send access, correction, or deletion requests to the support email below. We do not share data with third parties for marketing.
